Author photo: my genuine authorised portrait from my existing website; not a client meeting or event.
Property agents: a commission split is one line in a business comparison. Before deciding whether a brokerage suits you, write down what an ordinary working month actually needs. A quieter month deserves a page too.
Need → current arrangement → proposed arrangement → written evidence.
Start with the work you already do: listing photography, portal exposure, travel, phone and data, record keeping, administration, training and client communication. For each item, ask who provides it, who pays, what is optional and whether a limit applies. A missing answer stays “unconfirmed”; do not quietly enter zero.
List recurring commitments separately from charges triggered by a transaction or an optional service. Ask about once-off joining or setup costs, payment timing, cancellation arrangements and anything you would continue paying for yourself. Request current written terms for your own country and circumstances. This is a conversation worksheet, not a statement of any brokerage’s fees.
If a tool is included, what can you actually do with it? If support is offered, which task can someone help complete? Ask whether access, training, implementation and ongoing assistance are separate. Use a fictional listing when testing a workflow; keep client information private.
Use your own records to describe a realistic working month, then repeat the exercise with fewer transactions. Keep expected income separate from money already received. The purpose is to see commitments and unanswered questions clearly, not to manufacture an attractive forecast. No income result is promised.
If you are considering eXp with me, bring the one row you cannot yet complete. I would rather help you ask a clear question than rush a decision. We should verify the applicable current local terms before you rely on an answer; tool access and ongoing support are agreed separately.
Start with my career advisor and share one practical question, without private client details. Or WhatsApp me AGENT if you would like a personal reply about exploring eXp. Contacting me does not enrol you in daily messages.
Which item is hardest to compare fairly: costs, usable tools or practical support? Voluntary feedback is welcome. No obligation to join.
